Help FAQ's
1.
I downloaded and burned my CD but it will only play on
my computer
-
and not at church, in my car or on my home CD player.
You have either
- burned the CD as a DATA CD or you did not "close out"
or "Fix" the CD. It
- is possible to burn a CD and actually not complete the
process. In some burning
- software you have an option to burn but not close
out the CD in case you wish to
- add additional files later on. If that is the
case click on your burning software
- and click on help to find out how to close
out your CD.
2. How can I tell if my CD is a DATA CD or an AUDIO
CD. Put your CD
- in your CD-ROM drive right click on Start and then
left click on Explore.
-
Scroll down to where you can see the files listed on the left side of your
- window. Most CD-Rom drives will be drive D: or drive E: Click on one
- of
those drives to list the files on the CD you have burned. If you see the
- soundtrack files listed by number such as 1500-st.mp3 then you have burned
- this disk as a DATA CD and you will have to re-burn another disk but this time
- selecting to burn an AUDIO CD. If what you see is Track01.cda and Track02.cda
- then you have burned the Audio CD and you need to close the disk.
3. My CD Soundtrack skips. If after you
burn your CD and when playing back
- the tracks you notice skipping then follow
this test. Go to the directory c:\encoretrax\
- where your downloaded files are
stored and double click on one of the files that
- are skipping. If it
plays correctly there then the problem is not our file but is in the
- burning
process on your computer. If this file skips like the CD then email us
- and let us know the track number and where in the song you hear a skip. Write
- down the minute and second where the skip happens. We will inspect our
masters
- for this track and get back with you as soon as possible with a
solution.
4. My Download has the lead singer, I wanted a
Soundtrack. What you receive
- with EACH order is the Vocal Demo,
a Soundtrack and the Lyrics. You actually
- download ONE file for each song
but that ONE file is a zipped file that contains
- THREE files. If you ordered
track 1600 you will receive 1600-vd where vd
- stands for Vocal Demo and you
will receive one file as 1600-st where st stands
- for Soundtrack. In addition, you
receive 1600-lyrics which is the lyrics of the song
- that you can print out.
